Alberta Health Services presents a free 1-hour session on why protein matters and easy ways to add it to everyday meals. 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Open to everyone; hosted with the library's Seniors Social Drop-in Club.

Volunteer Appreciation Night · 6 PM
A thank-you night at Lennox Irish Pub (in Signal Hill Centre, 5-min walk from SHCA) for everyone who volunteered with SHCA in the past 12 months. Thursday, June 25 from 6 PM, pre-ordered appys on the table, 2 free drink tickets per volunteer at the door. Anything more is on your own tab. RSVP by Jun 15.

SHCA Casino 2026
The biennial fundraiser that funds the next two years of SHCA programs. Two days at Cowboys Casino (Aug 9 & 10), 36 volunteer shifts needed across cashier, banker, chip runner, and count-room roles. 18+ only per AGLC.
